Beauty in everyday life - Mobile Photography

Within the huzz-i-ness and bus-i-ness of everyday life, I cannot carry the DSLR camera everywhere.

Thanks to the little mobile instrument, that helps me to see the world again
with the eyes of a photographer,
searching for beauty in every pebble, every grass, to eyes of people,
from every tiny thing to the vastness around.

Pardon me for the low clarity, as the mobile is a simple one, with 5 mega-pixel camera.
Sharing...hope you enjoy the pics.

A simple morning...

Afternoon...with rays filtering through my shawl on my robe

A relaxing kitten

Fallen yellow flowers on the earth

shadows on a fallen leaf

Having water-melon juice...

small little flowers on the road side

Colourful chappals on the colorful floor

Another unique morning....lady cleaning the garden

A noon creating crisp reflections on the blue

And evening of people rushing to home

A night of candles and flowers

    shadows on a zebra
Colours and curves....

Smiling flowers

Simply Relax....there is nowhere to go... :) :)

Portfolio Shoot

An image is not just light stored on a sensor, its not just the moment captured...
It brings in present a taste of the past and a wonder for the future.
It talks to you, it tells you it's story...

These eyes looking beyond...these eyes taking us along...

The power of unity in classical dance...

 The lovely trio...

In bharatanatyam, eyes speak, hands speak, the soul speaks...

These pictures are recently shot by me for portfolios.

Photography and Graphic Designer for Arangetram Dance

Arangetram Brochure

Below brochure is designed by me for Arangetram of the three lovely dancers.

Front Page of the Brochure

What is Arangetram? After years of training, a bharatanatyam teacher may present his or her student to the public in the presence of peers and art lovers. Such an event is called arangetram, meaning “entering the stage”. Arangetram marks the beginning of a dancer's life, when he or she may cross the threshold from student to professional artist. The arangetram celebrates the years of dedication of both student and teacher to the bharatanatyam form.

Inside of the Brochure (Left) : is the Guru's Profile

Inside of the Brochure (Right) : is the Disciples Profiles

Closing page of the Brochure with Programme details

Arangetram performance is on 6th Nov 2010. The event is organised by IAID Doha (Academy for Dance Music and Arts).
Wish the Arangetram of the lovely, graceful dancers bloom in rainbow colours and
bring contentment to the respected Guru, the disciples, their parents and the Academy :).
Amen
