A question asked...

I am asked a question, 'how to live life?'

It reminds me, 4 years back, when I read my friends diary, at the end of each page was written 'Life is beautiful'.
Life...what is life? I never thought about it, and it is beautiful???...ahhh...it struck me...

Thank god! it struck me then...better late than never.
But since then I am ON this journey, of life, knowing more, living more, as osho says, totally, intensely, each moment of this life...

The more I go deep into it, the more experienced I become, the more mysterious everything becomes...

Sometimes, I feel I really can live life better than I am now, and sometimes I feel ahhhh, this moment is all.
But one thing is certain, for me...Life is beautiful, soft, precious, wondrous.

I am blessed to have a small 6 months old baby (reet) near me, and each time I meet her, I am surprised to see
the wonder in her eyes,
the true authentic smile...
the tenderness of the hands...
the pure hug...
the natural 'being'...
the living in the moment...

Small children live in heaven 'always'... the society, the system, pressurize them to leave their heavens and be serious.

After becoming an engineer, working with good companies, successful in my eyes, getting married, living with my beloved, being a great wife, a great daughter, a great sister and a great friend...I am here to become a child again, to find my heaven...I was born with...
To de-condition myself of everything I have learnt, and live my life then way my soul wishes...

As osho says, being child-like with the inner lamp of awareness...

But I have a question, if after earning everything, I am not content and desire to be a child again, then why do we pay such a big cost, the cost of our natural self...
As a parent, I would really be cautious and see when does my child starts to lose his/her heaven, I wont let that happen...

So, I am also searching the answer to this question 'how to live life', and trying to know it from the small 6 months old baby...

So Sweetheart! you have to find your own answer, you have to do your own journey...
But I know, you know, 'Your journey has begun

God bless you!

Love

  1. Congratulations!

your post makes me recall a famous quote that ponders in my mind most of the times - "Life is a continuous process of learning"

So true! every time we learn something, there is always a lot MORE to learn beyond what we have so far.. the quest for the need to know and learn never ends! That is life and there is no alternative to live without going through such infinite circles!

  3. Well written by someone "Learning is acquired by reading books; but the much more necessary learning, the knowledge of the world, is only to be acquired by reading man, and studying all the various editions of them." Nice to know that Reet inspires you so much. Love you. ;-)
